Orlando Pirates will have a new assistant coach next season following the departure of Jose Riveiro’s right-hand man.

And that assistant coach will come in after consultation with Riveiro as head coach together with the entire technical team. Almenara leaves having helped Pirates win two Nedbnk Cup titles and two MTN8 Cup titles in two seasons.“As preparations for the 2024/25 season get underway, Orlando Pirates today announce that Assistant Coach Sergio Almenara will be leaving the Club by mutual consent,” reads part of the statement.
