Orlando Pirates will play a number of high profile games during their preseason training in Spain next month.
Orlando Pirates have revealed their preseason schedule for 2024 where they are set to play top teams in Europe.Jose Riveiro’s men will begin their preseason campaign against English Championship side Plymouth Argyle on July 12, before heading to Seville on July 15 to take on La Liga outfit Sevilla. Then to round up the tour,will lock horns with Qatar Stars League outfit Al Sadd SC on July 19.
Orlando Pirates played Spanish side Las Palmas last year during the preseason. Riveiro’s side was unbeaten last year in Spain, holding a La Liga team to a goalless draw.Nicknamed The Pilgrims, Plymouth Argyle Football Club compete in the English Championship, Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney will coach the English side. Wazza will be on the touchline when Orlando Pirates play their first preseason match mid-July.
