Orlando Pirates are considering loaning out Congolese playmaker Kimvuidi to give him more playing time. Kimvuidi joined the club as a teenager but has struggled to find regular opportunities this season. The club is also looking to bolster its squad with the signing of Thabang Matuludi, potentially using Zakhele Lepasa as part of the deal.
Orlando Pirates to loan dazzlingly talented R14 million star out?, Orlando Pirates are considering a loan deal for Kimvuidi . The Congolese playmaker arrived at the club as a teenager to much fanfare. He impressed for Richards Bay in the 2022-2023 campaign, making 29 league appearances for them that season. Kimvuidi only appeared 17 times in the 2023-2024 league season in his debut campaign for the Buccaneers.
“At the moment, they wouldn’t want to sell him permanently. It’s just to give him more game time. He has one and a half years still on his contract and they can’t just let him go like that. After all, you should know that he is still young and he has a great future ahead of him and that’s why they invested in and the loan move would help him grow as a player.”Pirates want to add highly-rated full-back Thabang Matuludi to their ranks and will offer Zakhele Lepasa in part exchange.
“In an effort to get him game time, Pirates are open to the idea of letting him go to City as part of the deal to sign long-time target Matuludi. The 27-year-old Lepasa, who was the subject of interest from SuperSport United recently, is yet to feature for the Soweto giants this season due to injury,” they added.Qantas has delayed several flights from Sydney to Johannesburg due to falling debris from SpaceX rockets as they re-enter the atmosphere.
