Orlando Pirates have been rocked by death, and this time they have been robbed of a knowledgeable football administrator in Bra Stan!
Orlando Pirates have announced the passing away of their football administrator Stanley ‘Screamer’ Tshabalala.
He had been at Pirates for years as Dr Irvin Khoza’s right-hand man given his knowledge and understanding of South African football.“The Tshabalala and Orlando Pirates Family is announcing the sad and untimely passing of Stanley Tshabalala this afternoon in hospital,” reads the statement. “The Tshabalala and Orlando Pirates Family will furnish the details in due course. The public is advised to await the provision of the details for the arrangements going forward.”Tshabalala was born in 1949 in Orlando East, and while he became famous because of football, he started out in boxing, thanks to Jerry Moloi.
