The protesters will march from the Union Buildings to the High Commission of Eswatini.
Home Affairs Eswatini @EswatiniHome XSeveral pro-democracy organisations in Eswatini will this week take to the streets of Pretoria, demanding more political freedom and reform in their country.
The march will take place on Thursday, under the banner Justice 4 Swaziland, involving over 10- civil society organisations.Their demands include the release of all political prisoners, an independent investigation of political killings and the unbanning of all political parties. Qhawekazi Khumalo is the convener for Swazi Lives Matter, “The significance of the march is to reiterate the demands by the people of Swaziland, as we are all aware the last absolute monarchy in Africa, is Swaziland and the people are demanding political change, from a system currently which is governed literally by a family and they are asking for change, in terms of political multi-party democracy to be transitioned into Swaziland.
