Crown prosecutor Rob Marquette had argued a 12-month jail term was warranted for the vandalism spree Jensen engaged in while smashing glass panes on the bridge last summer.Article content$1,036,389.60, the amount of damage Jensen caused during two separate acts of vandalism last June 18 and July 24. Keelaghan also considered banning Jensen from using the bridge between the Sunnyside neighbourhood and downtown Calgary, something the offender wasn’t opposed to.Article content
Keelaghan noted homeless individuals like Jensen often carry instruments for protection, but she said he would have to ensure he didn’t arm himself in such a way.
