Former Sault MPP and current Sault College dean, David Orazietti, begins five-year term as college president in September
As reported earlier, Orazietti was announced as Sault College’s new president on Monday.
That job title was later revised to Dean of Aviation, Skilled Trades, Business, Environment and Culinary. “I would say post-secondary education is so vital to our community and Sault College was a top priority for provincial support when I was MPP,” Orazietti said. Orazietti, however, did comment on Sault College’s student body that includes an increasing number of international students.
“It’s demographics. But we have very strong programs at the college and we will have the opportunity to continue to build on the progress we’ve made and to work to grow our enrolment and our organization,” Orazietti said.
