The opposition is looking for an update from the Minister of Digital Government and Service NL on the cyber attack.

Critic Loyola O’Driscoll says Eastern Health has indicated that the number of staff and patients who have been affected by the cyber attack has grown and will continue to grow. He says Minister Sarah Stoodley has to be transparent with the consequences of the cyber attack and wants to know what government is doing to ensure people’s information is not used to wrongfully access other government systems.

He is also asking the minister to disclose what government has done to increase security and if a full cyber security review of IT infrastructure has been completed.
