Breaking: OPP offer $100,000 reward in case of woman abducted from Wasaga Beach a year ago

The OPP are offering a $100,000 reward to anyone with information that will lead to the location of Elnaz Hajtamiri, a year after police say she was abducted from a relative's house in Wasaga Beach. The family of Elnaz Hajtamiri has been holding out hope for her safe return since she was abducted when three men wearing police gear forced their way into a relative’s house where Hajtamiri was staying on the evening of Jan. 12, 2022.

Prior to her kidnapping, Hajtamiri was attacked and struck with a frying pan in an underground parking lot on King William Crescent, near Yonge Street and Bantry Avenue, on Dec. 20, 2021. Her ex-boyfriend, Mohamad Lilo, 35, was charged in both cases in July.
