The solution lies, in part, with San Diego schools providing early childhood mental health education.

Helping to set the stage for happier and healthier students, many schools across the country are already investing in various types of mental health programming. Chief among them is the practice of mindfulness, which is gaining traction for its effectiveness in not only helping students feel calmer and more focused but also boosting grades and decreasing behavioral problems.
