Members attached to Operation Restore, deployed in Kraaifontein area for high density and crime prevention duties arrested two females aged 40 and 41 in two separate incidents on Sunday, 05 November 2023.

While deployed in the area the members received information of drugs being sold and kept at two separate addresses. They immediately operationalised the information and responded to the identified addresses in Scottsville and Eikendal. On searching the first identified address in Petunia Street, Scottsville they found nine packets of tik and cash believed to be the proceeds of crime. A 41-year-old female was arrested on dealing in tik charges.

At the second address in 7th Avenue, Eikendal, 186 mandrax tablets and 15 packets of tik were discovered.
