“From what the club is saying, the interest was there even when he was at Cape Town Spurs and the club in Russia is just following up on that,” an insider told the outlet. “As much as he is doing very well for the club, the European team interested in him are more impressed with his national team performance. Not just in these recent games but also during the COSAFA Cup with coach Helman Mkhalele. So they have been monitoring him for some time now,” the report concluded on the Kaizer Chiefs defender from Belhar, Cape Town.
