Asked whether he would be open to amending the bill to make it more clear what the bill captures and alleviate some of these concerns, Rodriguez said he has an open mind. Bill C-11 was introduced in February and is meant to require online streaming giants like YouTube and TikTok to contribute to the creation and availability of Canadian content like music, film and television.
