Public Asked to Avoid St. George’s Avenue, Woodland Drive in Stephenville as Police Situation Unfolds
One man is in custody following a police operation in Stephenville Wednesday morning.
Officers converged on the St. George’s Avenue and Woodland Drive area of the town, and were asking people to stay indoors while they conducted their operation.Earlier StoryBay St. George RCMP are asking people to avoid St. George’s Avenue and Woodland Drive as they are currently responding to a situation at a home. Residents in the area should remain inside their homes at this time.
