BREAKING: Police report one man dead in Springville; Suspect at large
Shortly before 7 p.m., residents called 911 to report gunshots in the area of 250 North and 400 East. Witnesses said they heard three shots fired.
The suspect was initially reported to be at large, but police later gave an update that one person was in custody. The suspect's name has not been released. Springville Police Chief Lance Haight said the gun believed to have been used in the shooting was left at the scene and has been taken in as evidence. There is no threat to public safety, he added.
