The latest Star Wars series revealed many surprising twists and exciting reveals in Ahsoka episode 4, including the return of Anakin Skywalker. There was a lot to look at between the three different lightsaber duels and Ahsoka's return to the World Between Worlds, which was first introduced in Star Wars Rebels.
The reveal of Marrok's identity has been highly anticipated since he was first introduced for the Ahsoka series. The helmet that concealed his features allowed theories to run wild as viewers speculated whose face could be hidden underneath. Some believed he could be Sam Witwer's Starkiller, Galen Marek, with the actor having been included in the additional voices credits for Ahsoka.
Marrok Probably WAS Wearing The Eighth Brother's Armor Marrok's armor has long since been noted for its likeness to the Eighth Brother's, who appeared as an Inquisitor in Star Wars Rebels. The similarities between their helmets alone are striking, and the rest of the armor fits right in with each other. The Eighth Brother met his fate on Malachor after suffering a long fall while trying to kill Darth Maul, which would have made his armor available to Marrok to later take.
The Marrok twist was perfect for Ahsoka, especially in the wake of so many theories being passed around about his identity. The reveal is all too similar to Supreme Leader Snoke's in The Last Jedi, where he was also revealed to be his own character and not a derivative of another.
