A survey of 2,000 people has uncovered that a staggering 26 per cent have had to resort to sitting on their suitcase to close it, while 11 per cent have been hit with baggage weight penalties. One in three travellers admitted they're clueless when it comes to packing a suitcase efficiently.
An overwhelming 76 per cent expressed they'd be over the moon if they could unpack a suitcase and find everything free of creases. "My top tips include packing a capsule wardrobe so certain items can be re-worn and using vacuum-packed bags to create more room." However, the desire to look good during their travels motivates 38 per cent of people to pack carefully, while 26 per cent have had too many bad experiences with clothes creasing in the past.
