Denver police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in the city’s East Colfax neighborhood Friday night.

Paramedics transported one person — only identified as an adult male by police — to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries,. The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner will release the victim’s identity and official cause of death at a later time.
