Four pharmacies were allegedly robbed between October 1 and October 8.
According to Toronto police, a group of four men committed the “takeover-style robberies” while traveling in a stolen vehicle.One worker suffered minor injuries during one of the incidents. During two of the incidents, police claim the men pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the employees.On Thursday, they arrested Zekeria Amir, 24, of Toronto, while executing a search warrant. They also recovered ammo and a quantity of stolen narcotics.
Amir has been charged with robbery with a firearm , robbery with violence , disguise with intent , pointing a firearm and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence .They are described as Black, about 20-30 years old with thin builds.
