Olympic volleyball gold medalist Alix Klineman and NHL Pro Teddy Purcell are officially parents!

The engaged couple shared the happy news with friends and family on Instagram on June 12. “Theodore Gray Purcell 🤍 6/9/23,” Klineman captioned a carousel of photos and videos featuring images of Klineman with her baby boy, Purcell lounging with baby at home and the dad-to-be anxiously nibbling on a carrot, laid up on a cot awaiting Klineman to go into labor.

USA Volleyball and Klineman’s past teammates, like April Ross Beach and Kelly Reeves, reached out with their congratulations. “This is deeply wonderful. What a trio,” commented actor and new dad,One of the stars of the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, Klineman and Purcell first announced they were expecting a child together with an Instagram post on January 23.
