MIDDLETOWN, Ohio — A woman accused of shooting her husband in the back was found not guilty by reason of insanity by a Butler County judge.
Nancy Imfeld, 64, of Middletown, had been charged with felonious assault in the shooting of her husband, Douglas, at their home on Dec. 1, 2021,Court records show Judge Kenneth Spaeth made his decision last week. A commitment hearing is set for Oct. 20, according to court records.
