Ohio Stadium is ranked as the fourth-toughest place to play in EA Sports College Football 25 behind Texas A&M, Alabama and LSU, with Michigan Stadium ranked 16th.
EA Sports unveiled its first set of rankings for its new college football video game on Tuesday when it released its list of the 25 toughest places to play. Ohio Stadium is ranked fourth on the list behind Texas A&M’s Kyle Field, Alabama’s Bryant-Denny Stadium and LSU’s Tiger Stadium.Ohio Stadium is one of three Big Ten stadiums in the top seven, along with Penn State’s Beaver Stadium and Wisconsin’s Camp Randall Stadium .
According to EA Sports, factors considered in the rankings include historical stats such as home winning percentage, home game attendance, active home winning streaks and team prestige. The rankings will determine how much of a home-field advantage each team has in the video game. Per EA Sports, “audio and in-game modifiers such as blurred routes, incorrect play art, confidence and composure effects and screen shaking are some of the immersive impacts away teams and players will be forced to contend with.”
EA Sports College Football 25 will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on July 19. EA Sports will unveil the game’s top offenses and defenses on Thursday and the overall team power rankings on Friday.
