A closer inspection also reveals 1TO6 Edition graphics on the door sill plates, floor mats, and dashboard. They’re joined by a sport steering wheel and an 8.8-inch infotainment system.
Motivation is provided by a familiar turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 228 hp and 236 lb-ft of torque. It’s obviously connected to a six-speed manual, which sends power to the front wheels. The special edition will go into production in the third quarter and MINI USA is currently accepting pre-orders on a “first come, first served basis” with a $500 deposit.
