The 31-year-old was a free agent after parting ways with Major League Soccer side Cincinnati FC at the end of the 2021 season.
Born in Kutloanong Location, Odendaalsrus, 11 March 1991, Mokotjo began his career with Supersport United Academy. He was promoted into the first team squad at the age of 16 years, then moved to Feyenoord the same year to begin his international career in the Netherlands, which lasted until 2017. Mokotjo, the former Bafana Bafana midfielder, also captained South Africa's U12 national team called 'Tsetse Flies' to victory at the 2003 Danone Nations Cup in France and was named Player of the Tournament.2009 U20 World Cup. He has also played for the U23 team and was part of the senior team that took part in the African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
