The Reds have confirmed that 33-year-old Jordan Henderson has completed a switch to Steven Gerrard's Al Ettifaq in the Saudi Pro League.As his Anfield chapter now comes to a close, everyone at the club wishes to place on record their thanks and gratitude for everything Jordan did for us during his 12 years as a Red ??Gerrard was believed to have made the England international a priority target following his appointment at the club, and has now got his man.
Henderson has joined Al Ettifaq in a deal believed to be worth £12 million , plus add-ons, and is reportedly set to earn a salary of almost £700 000 a week. The midfielder represented Liverpool on 492 occasions during his 12-year spell, winning eight trophies in the process. Many of his best moments in red came as captain, a role he was handed in 2015 following Gerrard's departure from Anfield.
