Official: Inter Milan clinch Serie A title

Inter Milan have officially clinched the 2023/2024 Serie A title following a victory over AC Milan in the Milan derby on Monday night. Simone Inzaghi's charges got the breakthrough in the 18th minute when Benjamin Pavard did well to set up Francesco Acerbi for the close range header. French striker Marcus Thuram ensured the party continued when he doubled Inter's lead four minutes after the break with a drilled strike into the bottom corner.Nerazzurri have now wrapped up the league with five matches to spare in the Serie A campaign, while also grabbing the spoils in the Milan derby.
