NFL wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was escorted off American Airlines flight 1228 Sunday morning, the company. Miami-Dade police department also released a statement saying officers were dispatched for a medical emergency to try to wake Beckham to fasten his seatbelt as the former Super Bowl champion appeared to be in and out of consciousness prior to the plane’s departure.
After the aircraft was deplaned, Beckham was asked by officers to exit as well. He did so and was escorted to a non-secure area of the terminal.
