Oasis have issued a statement to those fans worrying they won't get pre-sale access to their highly anticipated reunion tour. The iconic Britpop legends have just announced a pre-sale for their UK and Ireland tour, but many devotees were left in limbo without confirmation emails. However, the band has reassured everyone that those golden codes are on their way, following a massive rush of entries.
Oasis have opened up a 24-hour window for fans to enter a pre-sale ballot, which closes at 7pm on Wednesday. But it's not just about being quick - fans also need to prove their Oasis knowledge by answering the question: "Who was the drummer in the initial Oasis line up?" Fans are also asked about their Oasis gig attendance history and where they'd like to score tickets. Those lucky enough to succeed in the ballot will get early access to try and secure tickets for Oasis' gigs at Cardiff's Principality Stadium, Manchester's Heaton Park, London's Wembley Stadium, Murrayfield in Edinburgh or Dublin's Croke Park.The pre-sale opens on Friday, while general ticket sales kick off at 9am on Saturday for the UK dates and 8am for the Irish dates.
The digital queue begins online at Ticketmaster, Gigs and Tours and See Tickets. Oasis haven't disclosed their ticket prices yet, but it's rumoured that tickets will cost over £100 and could even approach £140.
