The band will play more shows in Manchester, London and Edinburgh, it has been announced
On Tuesday, the band announced that Liam and Noel Gallagher will put their long-running feud aside for a series of 14 huge shows in the UK and Ireland.The band has also confirmed that three more dates have been added to the tour; Heaton Park in Manchester on 16 July, Wembley in London on 30 July and Murrayfield stadium in Edinburgh on 12 August.
A new website ‘oasisinet’ for fans to register in a pre-sale ballot crashed due to a surge in traffic when it was first launched on Tuesday morning.Fans were eventually redirected to a site which said: “Oasis today end years of feverish speculation with the confirmation of a long awaited run of UK and Ireland shows forming the domestic leg of their OASIS LIVE ’25 world tour.“Their only shows in Europe next year, this will be one of the biggest live moments and hottest tickets of the decade.
A comment from the band added: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”Further information on the new website reveals people will be able to book a maximum of four tickets each and other conditions including no children aged under 14 allowed at certain gigs including Heaton Park in Manchester.
A black-and-white image of Liam and Noel, both in dark jackets, was also released as part of the announcement on Tuesday.It has not been announced who will be performing with Liam and Noel as part of Oasis.
