JOHANNESBURG - The South African Communist Party's says it's time for new leadership within the organisation according to the view of General Secretary, Blade Nzimande.
He said he's grateful to have led the party for more than the decades, and that the decision to return will not be up to him.The SACP gears up for its highly anticipated national conference in July. Nzimande said:"All what I can say is that 24 years is a long time and I really feel honoured that the SACP has had the confidence in me."
"I've been elected and reelected without any contest...i n the end it's not me who'll decide but if you ask me I think maybe it's time now, not to leave politics, but to give a new leadership a chance."
