The National Prosecuting Authority Investigating Directorate has refuted claims that ANC chairperson Gwede Mantashe’s arrest is imminent.NPA ID spokesperson Henry Mamothame said the unit does not comment on its investigations, and a misstatement attributed to its office must be corrected.“It is unclear where these comments come from, but they are not from the ID.
According to the publication, two of Mantashe’s allies confirmed that they are aware of plans to arrest him.
