Booi and his co-accused are back at the Cape Town Magistrates Court on Friday for judgment in their bail applications in the corruption case against them.
CAPE TOWN - The National Prosecuting Authority has asked for bail to be set at R200,000 for Democratic Alliance member and former Cape Town Human Settlements MMC Malusi Booi and four of his co-accused in the corruption case against them.ALSO READ:Ten people have so far been arrested in connection with multi-million-rand tender corruption within the city's Human Settlements directorate between 2019 and 2023.
The group appeared before Magistrate Alida Theart on Wednesday, following their arrests earlier this week. Alleged 28's gang boss Ralph Stanfield and his wife Nicole Johnson are expected to be added to the indictment when the group appears in court.
