Sophie Blades and her Nova Scotia No.1 women's team improved to 5-0 at the Canadian Under-21 curling championships in Rouyn-Noranda, Que., on Wednesday. Blades, third Kate Weissent, second Stephanie Atherton and lead Alexis Cluney easily defeated Northwest Territoties 14-4. On Tuesday night the Chester rink downed P.E.I.'s Ella Lenentine 7-4.Allyson MacNutt's Nova Scotia No.2 rink fell to 2-3 following a 7-4 loss to British Columbia's Emily Bowles. MacNutt, third Lauren Ferguson, second Alison Umlah and lead Isabella Tatlock played Northern Ontario on Wednesday night.

MacIsaac, third Nathan Gray, second Owain Fisher and lead Christopher McCurdy took control of the game with a pair in the first end and a steal of one in the second.
