After two and a half years and upwards of $20 million spent, the Mass Casualty Commission today will release the results of its inquiry into the worst mass shooting in Canadian history.
and its communication with the public and with victims’ families during and in the aftermath of the shooting.
Many of its recommendations are expected to be directed at changing policies and training at the national police force with a view to boosting public trust in the Mounties.and proffer recommendations on flagging, reporting and mitigating those types of violence in the future.
