Learners from Nova Pioneer Boksburg recently organised a successful clean-up event at a local park in Beyers Park.
Pule Letshweni, a marketing assistant from Nova Pioneer Boksburg, emphasised the importance of such initiatives in encouraging a sense of pride among learners. 'This initiative was not just about picking up litter; it was about instilling values of responsibility and care for our environment.”Equipped with gloves and trash bags, the learners worked diligently to remove debris, clear litter, and enhance the park's overall appearance.
“The clean-up not only improved the park's aesthetics but also fostered a sense of accomplishment among the learners,” said Letshweni.
