The youngster was placed in an induced coma and suffered three haemorrhages
A Nottinghamshire grandma has opened up on her family's struggles after her grandson was rushed back into hospital and diagnosed with a rare life-threatening condition. Hudson Oliver Roebuck was born by caesarean on June 27, and now his family have spoken of their fears after the youngster was placed in an induced coma and suffered three haemorrhages.
"It's so awful to see this happening, but we just don't know. One minute he's up then he's down - but he's a little fighter bless him. I thought I'd be pushing him around in his pram by now. But I'm extremely proud of my daughter, as a mum I'm really proud of the strength she's found, and the children too.
Georgia told the Manchester Evening News: "It's turned our world upside down. We were excited. We had a happy, healthy baby for five days. For five days he was absolutely fine, but then it just went rapidly downhill." He's the couple's first child together, while they were both looking forward to introducing him to their other children - Georgia's son Alfie, eight, and daughter Ava-Grace, five, as well as Saul's four-year-old Amelia. Instead, the couple have had to watch over their newborn son in a 'rollercoaster' of emotions at Alder Hey, worrying about each development.
