The Newark based company has hundreds of employees in the town

New technology and impressive products have been unveiled at a Nottinghamshire company. Barcode Warehouse is known for having its finger on the pulse when it comes to how businesses can use technology to help the environment and save money.

The point of the event was to show people how they can implement new technology to be more eco-friendly, save time and save money. One of the highlights of the day was if.Vehicles, which unveiled its new solution for deliveries in the form of a zero-emission vehicle which can also transform into a push trolley.

Additionally, this smaller vehicle could be more effective, especially for city centres. The day at Barcode Warehouse included an interactive tour of the company's state-of-the-art Innovation and Customer Experience Centre, where visitors witnessed the latest technology solutions. One of the people in attendance was Darren Rawlinson, the partner developer for Europe for Android Enterprise.

Visitors also listened to talks from industry experts, the opportunity to test drive Maxus commercial electric vehicles and a presentation from MP Bill Esterson, who is the shadow Transport Minister. The MP said: "It's clear what an important event this is, and just what a great job Barcode Warehouse is doing looking after customers and having a facility like this which is a great way of showcasing the fantastic work, contributions and the opportunities that exist in this space.
