Bosses are also hoping to add a bar

A Nottinghamshire glamping site hopes to host future weddings as it expands its facilities. Meadow View Glamping, which sits on the edge of Stapleford, has submitted planning permission to add a bar to previously approved plans to build a coffee shop, kitchen and store at the site.

Ian Shakespeare, administration manager at Aston Properties Limited - the company which bought the site in late 2021 - said: "We've got planning permission for a coffee shop, a kitchen and a shop. But we're now putting a bar in there."So the site's got a full alcohol license. Our customers can look at having a coffee, a cake and an alcoholic drink."We're looking at how we can take our situation, add things to the community.

Aston Properties Limited bought the glamping site in September 2021. The company has since started implementing the planning permission the site had when it purchased it. The luxury camping site cost £250,000 to construct. The Smedley family, formerly in charge of Meadow View Glamping, unveiled the facility on April 17, 2019 and the site has since attracted visitors from across the country.
