Train services between Nottingham and Skegness are impacted
on Monday, May 8, morning. East Midlands Railway says engineering work that has been carried out over the weekend will not be finished on time for services to resume this morning and replacement bus services are being put on for part of the route.
Trains will run between Nottingham and Sleaford in Lincolnshire, and between Boston and Skegness, with a replacement bus service between Sleaford and Boston. A spokesperson for East Midlands Railways said: "Engineering work that has been carried out over the weekend, will not be finished on time at Heckington. This is between Sleaford and Boston and will disrupt our trains on the Nottingham to Skegness route on Monday May 8.have advised that a section of track requires additional time to be repaired. They expect the works to be completed by 12midday.
"As soon as the problem is fixed our priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again. We expect our advertised timetable to resume on the affected routes by 12midday."
