Nottingham Forest have identified four players they must sell as the club look to embark on a fire sale of fringe players.Football Insider’s Inside Track podcastEnglish clubs must demonstrate their account figures on Sunday 30 June to abide by PSR rulings, with Forest sanctioned with a points deduction last season.
This time around, owner Evangelos Marinakis and the Forest hierarchy are doing their utmost to offload certain squad players in order to avoid further consequences.
Should Forest fail to raise at least £20m from player sales in the next 48 hours, a points deduction is highly possible. Another alternative would be to sell a talismanic figure from the squad, such as Morgan Gibbs-White, Murillo or Callum Hudson-Odoi.
