Not Sure What To Think Of This Video Of A Pretoria Security Company Lip-Syncing To Backstreet Boys

Look, the effort is appreciated, the energy is stunning, and the men are doing their best, but I’m not going to lie and say it’s not a bit of a cringe-fest. The Pretoria-based team for Mi7 National Group, a security and emergency medical services provider, made a little music video, lip-syncing their hearts away to the Backstreet Boys.

The classic 90s boy band is coming to South Africa in May this year as a part of their world tour, and clearly, the Mi7 team are beside themselves with excitement. I say beside themselves because I am not sure they totally knew what they were doing. It’s less a lip-sync and more a situation of gesticulating awkwardly, miming with your mouth and hoping for the best.
