TMNT's core four brothers could be splitting up.

This article contains spoilers for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #142 While there are few teams in comic book fiction more iconic than the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, it seems the original four brothers may not be fighting side-by-side for very much longer. Since the end of the Armageddon Game, Leonardo, Donatallo, Michelangelo, and Raphael have been steadily drifting apart, each one finding their own passions, none of which involve any of the others.

Apparently, all of them have an inherent mysticism that quite literally draws people into their orbit. Sometimes this is a good thing, as their allies, friends, and even found family members were formed because of this power.
The 4 TMNT Brothers Splitting Up Is Natural For The Series In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #142 by Sophie Campbell, Gavin Smith, and Kevin Eastman, Donatello has completely cut himself off from his brothers to pursue his own scientific endeavors. Meanwhile, Michelangelo is producing his own podcast/mutant-news outlet for the residents of Mutant Town.
This comic is the first time Venus has helped the entire TMNT on a mission aside from lending a hand here and there, and Jennika has made it clear that she feels more at home with herself and in Mutant Town than ever, even while the TMNT brothers can barely stand to be around each other. The timing of these events could suggest a shift in the TMNT lineup.
Basically every superhero team in comic books has heroes filtering in and out. The X-Men, Avengers, Justice League, Teen Titans, all of them constantly having a revolving roster. Why can’t the TMNT do the same? The Turtles were their most iconic with four members, and with Jennika and Venus playing bigger roles on the team while Donnie and Mikey seem to be interested in other things, now’s the perfect time to make the TMNT a team of four once again - just a new team of four.
