Students from Wawa, Sudbury among 150 boys and girls selected to serve in province's legislative assembly

Students from local French Catholic schools are getting an up-close look at the workings of Ontario’s legislature as part of the page program at Queen’s Park in Toronto.

Pages play an important role in the Legislature. They work in the Legislative Chamber as messengers, performing duties for the Members of Provincial Parliament and the Officers of the House. “While becoming experts of Ontario’s legislative system, Havana and Ema will meet some outstanding citizens. With this experience, they will continue to share their leadership in their schools as well as within their communities,”
