The National Weather Service forecast is calling for lots of chances for showers this week.
Forecasts from the National Weather Service show strong chances of showers nearly every day this week, including through next weekend. That’s the case Monday, with a 60% chance of rain and highs in the mid-50s. There are solid chances of showers overnight, with temps dipping to the mid-40s.
The chances of showers drop to 20% Tuesday, but it appears it will remain a dreary day. Forecasts call for mostly cloudy skies and a high around 57. Temps will drop to the low 40s overnight with partly cloudy skies. A break from the wet conditions should come Wednesday, which is expected to be mostly sunny. Highs will be in the mid-60s, so it will be a good chance to check out the fall colors. Clouds return Wednesday night and temps will drop to around 50 degrees.
There’s a 50% chance of showers on Thursday but it will be mild, with highs in the mid-60s. Shower chances increase to 70% overnight and temps will drop to the low 50s. There is a 70% chance of showers both Friday and Saturday, with highs on Friday around 60 degrees and in the mid-50s Saturday.
