Last weekend over 100 teen patients from Cleveland Clinic Children’s, UH Rainbow Babies and Akron Children’s hospitals attended the Enchanted Evening Dunkin’ Oncology Prom.
CLEVELAND , Ohio - An enchanted prom was held for teenage patients of Northeast Ohio’s hospitals who are unable to attend their high school’s prom due to illness.
Last weekend, over 100 teen patients from Cleveland Clinic Children’s, UH Rainbow Babies and Akron Children’s hospitals attended the Enchanted Evening Dunkin’ Oncology Prom. The event was held at the Aviator Cleveland, where the teens were provided with a night of dancing, sweet treats and flower crown making.
The Cleveland Cavaliers Dance Team and Mascot Sir C.C., Mrs. Northern Ohio, and the Cleveland Clinics Children’s facility dogs, Kid and Trotter all made special appearances. The event was provided by the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation’s Dunkin’ Prom, which provides grants for hospitals to throw the celebration.
