The 2024 Homer O. Harvey Scholarship winners, all of whom are members of the Northbrook Junior High School Class of 2020, have been announced.
The 2024 Homer O. Harvey Scholarship recipients were recognized at the Glenbrook North Awards Ceremony on May 24. According to a news release, each winner will receive $1,500 as a graduating senior from Glenbrook North High School. The recipients were recognized at the Glenbrook North Awards Ceremony on May 24, the release said. Since 1989, when the fund was established in the name of longtime superintendent Homer O. Harvey, there has been $384,000 awarded to 409 Northbrook Junior High and Glenbrook High School graduates.
The primary fund-raiser for the scholarships is the HOH5K, held on the first Saturday in May. This year, the race raised $16,000, the release said.
