The woman has been unconscious since the accident and has nothing on her person to identify her, police say
Police are asking the public to help identify a woman who was hit while using a crosswalk Friday morning on Capilano Road at Garden Avenue.
The woman was transported to local hospital in critical but stable condition, according to a statement released Friday afternoon. “She has no identification with her, no phone, no wallet, nothing that would enable us to find out who she is,” North Van RCMP Sgt. Peter DeVries said. “It appears she was out for either a walk or a jog, so we theorize she is somehow connected to this area.
