There is a small chance for scattered showers in Dallas-Fort Worth Thursday morning, but the chances will increase during the afternoon.

Precipitation is expected to move into the Dallas-Fort Worth area from the west, said Matt Stalley, a meteorologist with the weather service’s Fort office. There is a small possibility of scattered showers Thursday morning, he said, but the chances will increase during the afternoon. The weather service forecasts an 80% chance of rain.“Looks like a pretty good bet for most areas to see some showers and thunderstorms, especially Thursday afternoon and evening,” Stalley said.

“We’re going to be back in the upper 60s and 70s here for basically these next several days, so no big drastic changes in terms of temperatures,” Stalley said.Cloudy and cool with a occasional showers. Heavier showers and storms will arrive Thursday evening. High: 66. Wind: SE 10-15 mph.A few showers or patchy drizzle in the morning. Decreasing clouds by mid afternoon. Low: 55. High: 60.
