North Richland Hills police said Palmer died after he collapsed while on duty in the department Tuesday.NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas — The North Richland Hills Police Department is mourning the loss of assistant chief Kevin Palmer.
“Assistant Chief Kevin Palmer was such an integral person within our police department family it will be hard to think about him not being a part of our leadership team. Kevin was a truly incredible person in every part of his life and our department greatly mourns his loss,” said North Richland Hills Police Chief Mike Young.
“As his final act of service, Assistant Chief Palmer was an organ donor. He leaves behind his wife, two sons, and all those who know and loved him. Please keep the Palmer family and his NRH family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Funeral arrangements are currently pending,” the news release continued.
