North Korea made a second attempt at placing a military spy satellite in space orbit on Thursday, but it failed after the rocket experienced a problem during the third stage flight, state media reported.
Its space agency said it would try again in October, the North's KCNA news agency said.
April 13, 2012: The Kwangmyongsong-3 satellite is launched from the newly completed Sohae Satellite Launching Station in the western region. Foreign media are invited to observe the launch, which once again is unsuccessful.
